Mostly used in commercial applications, Exterior film's reflective properties offer privacy while still allowing for a view from the inside out through the windows.
There are two different brands available in the Exterior Series:
- Silver Exterior
- A highly reflective, aluminum film, available in two levels of darkness (15 & 35% VLT).
- Stainless Steel Exterior
- A sputtered film with a neutral color is available in two levels of darkness (20 & 35% VLT).

Film Construction
Designed for exterior application to withstand the elements, SUN-GARD exterior films are produced utilizing a layer of weatherable polyester positioned towards the climate-exposed side of the product. The products are also protected by a durable UV cured, scratch-resistant coating.

Professionally installed SUN-GARD brand Exterior Series window films are warranted against the following for 3 years in both commercial and residential applications:
- Peeling
- Bubbling
- Rippling
- Cracking
- Adhesive failure
- Delamination
- Demetallization
